Corven and Lisa reside in Fluvanna County and both grew up in the Charlottesville area. They have two children, Aaron and Kinzie.

Corven was first licensed as a Realtor in 1985 and was active in real estate for several years. His efforts were then redirected to the family restaurant business located in Charlottesville, La Hacienda and El Cabrito’s. After meeting Lisa and getting married, Corven decided to pursue his real estate career further. In 1995 he reactivated his license and has been selling real estate full time since.

Lisa has been involved with construction and real estate for a number of years as well. She was employed by Robert Hauser Homes for over 7 years where she worked in the accounting department. In 2003, Lisa joined Corven in the real estate world. While Lisa assisted with Corven’s clients, Corven was able to focus part of his energy on obtaining his Broker’s License.

In March 2005, Corven and Lisa branched out on their own to open Akarion Realty. The first year was great and it has continued to improve each year. At the end of 2005, Akarion Realty had 5 full time agents. At the beginning of 2006, George Rosario was welcomed as a business partner and the Principal Broker of Akarion Realty.

Corven and Lisa are active supporters of Fluvanna County Athletics and really enjoy cheering for the FLUCO’s. They also have a horse farm where they share the joy and work of caring for their horses and dogs. Lisa enjoys working with children and teaching horsemanship and riding. Corven is a sports enthusiast. He coached with Fluvanna Parks and Rec for a few years when Aaron and Kinzie participated. He expects to return to coaching in the future.
